Welcome to the Central California Athletic League (CCAL) and our new website. The CCAL was formed prior to the 2018-19 interscholastic athletic year through the league realignment process governed by the Sac Joaquin Section(SJS) of the California Interscholastic Federation(CIF). We are considered a Division II league within the SJS of the CIF. Our member schools are Downey, Enochs, Gregori, Modesto, Pitman and Turlock High Schools. All of our member 9-12 grade schools have enrollments exceeding 2000 students. Our student athletes participate and compete in 15 different sports offered during the Fall, Winter and Spring sports seasons. We have established this CCAL website to provide information about our league and to highlight the accomplishments of our student-athletes and their coaches. We hope to see you at an upcoming CCAL event!
